P-47D "Tarheel
Hal" P-47D Tarheel Hal was flown by Lt. Davis of the 358th Fighter Group, 366th Fighters Squadron, 9th Air Force in Europe during WWII. The Vintage Fighters P-47D Big Ass Bird II was repainted to reflect this paint scheme. This P-47D was sold to the Lone Star Flight Museum in Texas.
