P-47D "Big Ass Bird II"   

P-47D Big Ass Bird II was flown by Howard Park of the 406th Fighter Group, 513th Fighters Squadron, 9th Air Force in Europe during WWII. The Vintage Fighters P-47D Big Ass Bird II was eventually repainted to reflect the "Tarheel Hal" paint scheme. This P-47D was sold to the Lone Star Flight Museum in Texas.
