Rear Fuselage Sheet Metal Work

The rear fuselage required a lot of sheet metal work.  The majority of skins on the F4U are all spot welded onto the structure rather than riveted.  In order to keep the airframe as original as possible we elected to install flush repairs rather than reskinning large areas of the fuselage.  It is better to leave as many of the spot welds undisturbed as possible.
