In order to gain access to restore the cockpit and aft fuselage, we split the fuselage in half at the production break at the aft end of the cockpit. We built some temporary wooden cradles and put them on wheels to hold both sections up after the split. The fuselage came apart without much difficulty. This will make our job so much easier when we do the cockpit.
