Paint Stripping and Wing Fit Testing

In order to find out what we were up against with the sheet metal on the airplane we had to get all the old paint stripped off.  The paint that was on the Corsair was thin and came off very easy.  We uncovered a lot of metal work that we would need to accomplish than we expected.  That is how it usually goes in this business though.  After stripping the paint we decided to test fit the wings to ensure they were going to work out.  The wings were delivered on the truck with the project, but none of us had seen the wings on the plane.  The wings went on smoothly and fit very well.
